🐾 The story of FjeldgaardShop.dk

A webshop created out of love for animals, nature and decency

It didn't all start with a business plan. It started with animals. Lots of animals.
On our small country estate, where dogs, cats, horses, chickens and rabbits fill the days with life, the thought crept in:
Why is it so difficult to find quality products for dogs that are both natural, responsible and produced closer to us?

My name is Sarah Jensby Fjeldgaard , and I have always had my hands deeply buried in animal care – both professionally and in everyday life. As an agricultural technologist specializing in animal care and a former animal sitter, I know what works in practice. I also know how much trust it takes to find the right products for the ones we love most.

And that's where the idea came to fruition:
A webshop that only sells what I would give to my own animals.
Not because it sounds nice – but because it feels right.

🌱 A journey driven by values

FjeldgaardShop.dk was built as a counter-reaction.
A silent protest against mass production, unnecessary additives and products that have traveled further than a charter flight.

I wanted to create something more down to earth. More honest. More thoughtful.

Therefore I choose:

• Products from the EU and local producers

• Natural ingredients without crap

• Long-lasting solutions that create well-being

• Suppliers who can vouch for their ethics

For me, it's not about having the largest assortment , but the best assortment .
And yes – sometimes it is necessary to say goodbye to products that no longer match our values. I do so without hesitation. That is how things have always been done best: with integrity.

🐕 When everyday life is the best test

Every single item in the shop has been tested on home turf. Not in a laboratory – but in mud, rain, sunshine and the ordinary, honest everyday situations with our own animals.
If a product is not suitable for rural life?
Then it doesn't work at all.

This means that you shop in a place where professionalism and experience go hand in hand with love and common sense.

💚 The webshop that shops with the heart

FjeldgaardShop.dk is my contribution to a more responsible way of buying pet products.
This is also the reason why we pack in recyclable boxes, use environmentally friendly filling and actively phase out goods outside the EU.

When you order something from us, you're not just supporting a small Danish business - you're backing a movement where animal welfare and sustainability actually matter.
