KBF99 is tested by the English university Coventry University. Here it has been proven that KBF99 kills over 99% of the bacteria found in a test culture. A reduction of the harmful bacteria and fungi in the stable environment will reduce the risk of infection among horses.

KBF99 – The Technology How does it work?

KBF99 is added to plastic during the molding phase and is rich in nitrogen molecules which are positively charged. KBF99 covers the plastic surface with small "invisible" molecular threads (which act like spikes / swords). Bacteria, mold, algae and fungal spores all have negatively charged cell membranes. They are therefore attracted to the positively charged threads (on KBF99 products) and their surface membrane is destroyed and thereby the cell dies. The cell breaks apart because + and – go together.

Because KBF99 works without releasing chemicals, it has a long duration of action. From the date a product is produced, an effect is promised for 30 months.
